Working with a high level of confidentiality & integrity, the HR Generalist/Assistant will be responsible for HR administrative tasks for the Farmington Hills location.
Responsibilities:
General HR Assistance
Management & organization of associate files (active/term/leave/etc.)
Creation of office announcements & communications
Management of confidential associate files
Assisting with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
Assisting with HR reporting & analysis
Consolidation of regional compliance reporting to Legal
Updating organizational charts
Coordination of training & meetings
Employee Relations / Engagement
Assist with on-boarding, transitions, and exits from organization
Answering of general benefit/payroll questions
Assistance with employee engagement survey actions
Assistance with associate social events
Recruitment
Creation and management of job descriptions in an updated format
Posting of jobs internally & externally
Reviewing & filtering of resumes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred, HR internship experience a plus
1-2 years as an HR intern or HR assistant
Confidential, high integrity & professional
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Detail-oriented
