Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining the business relationship with OEM customers.

Required Experience/ Academic Background:

  • Education: Engineering/Bachelor
  • Experience: 2 years in a similar position within the automotive industry as Tier 1

Abilities/Aptitudes:

Personnel management, knowledge of ISO, FMEA, VDA, PPAP, knowledge of continuous improvement, costs, finances

Basic position knowledge:

  • Use of PC, minimum office package.
  • Management of personnel and/or operational groups
  • Productivity management, scrap, continuous improvement
  • General knowledge of cost accounting for costing
    Experience in the processing industry
  • IATF 16949
  • SPC, FMEA, VDA, PAPP, etc.
  • New product launches

  • SOS/ASI
  • Handling of hazardous materials
  • Safety, Hygiene and Environment Standards

  • Receive and review cost estimate
  • Establish pricing
  • Submit quotation approval
  • Receive quotation approval
  • Submit quotation to customer
  • Negotiate for business
  • Report Sourcing Result

  • Present the market analysis for discussion with the
  • Investigate customer production forecasts in the short, medium and long term
  • Evaluate engineering costs
  • Prepare quotation in customer or own formats as applicable
  • Submit quotes to the Presidency for Review
  • Deliver to the client and negotiations under the guidelines of the Presidency
  • Provide training on the client's files and their
  • Follow up accounts receivable and financial support if
  • Support the Management for the spare parts
  • Prepare presentations for clients and manage client
  • Frequently contact the various areas of the client Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Logistics
  • Review and clarify the client's request for
  • Review engineering information
  • Follow up the quote process when applicable
  • Negotiate the conditions with the client
  • Coordinate implementation on time
  • Coordinate the launch of new models for their clients
  • Promote safety, order and cleanliness in your area and the implementation of safety improvements
  • Comply with legal requirements and regulations, customer requirements and corporate requirements as appropriate
