Summary of Position:

The Sustainability Coordinator works collaboratively with the Environmental team to develop, coordinate, and promote effective sustainability initiatives to reduce AGC’s impact on the environment.  In this position, you would be responsible for educating the organization about sustainability. Coordinating and developing programs related to sustainability, and monthly / annual reporting. Understanding and complying with AGC Global and Customer’s sustainability requirements. Improving the effectiveness of AGC’s sustainability programs by monitoring internal and external best practices. Promoting an understanding and awareness of sustainability issues by coordinating training and communication campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Degree in an environmentally-related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in sustainability-based initiatives required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to work collaboratively
