Summary of Position:

The Quality Auditor is responsible for testing and confirming conformance to automotive safety glass regulatory requirements.

Location:

Elizabethtown, KY

Responsibilities:

  • Daily cutting of glass to meet required samples used for daily testing
  • Cutting and accumulating glass samples to be used for monthly and yearly testing
  • Review and record production fragmentation tests
  • Performing the required amount of daily testing based on QC Tables and production amounts (penetration, pummel, high temperature, light transmission, bake, moisture, optics)
  • Perform and record monthly and yearly regulatory testing
  • Assist in CCC, ANSI, and ECE audits
  • Special projects, as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Production Technician (CPT) preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge including SharePoint and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of statistics: control charts
  • Must be willing to do occasional travel
