Headquartered in Alpharetta, GA, with offices in Farmington Hills, MI, AGC Glass Company North America supplies high-quality products to the automotive, construction, and specialty glass markets.

Summary of Position:

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the production operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures in order to meet KPI’s. There are two salary positions available to work 7pm to 7am.

Responsibilities:

Lead team to accomplish all plant and department goals while promoting a safe work environment
Coordinate production startups, shutdowns and job changes
Ensure acceptable associate performance through appraisal, training, coaching and counseling
Assist with Problem Solving activities
Effectively communicate both written and verbally with all levels of AGCNA
Effectively listen to Associates and work towards resolving concerns
Overtime for department meetings and weekend scheduled production
Follow and adhere to company policy
Develops Team Leaders and Production Staff through coaching and continued training activities
Conducts assessment verification sheets for direct reports
Ability to halt or suspend operations based upon safety or quality concerns

Desired Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) years of leadership and manufacturing experience
Moderate to advanced computer skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong process knowledge and skills
Ability to work through and influence others
