AGC Glass Company North America, located in Bellefontaine, Ohio, fabricates high-quality automotive safety glass for automobile manufacturers located in the United States and abroad. We are searching for individuals who want to join our fast-paced, high-tech, team environment.
The Maintenance Associate repairs and maintains equipment, performs preventative maintenance and performs minor improvements to equipment. This position supports all production and support staff management in maintenance duties as requested.
Hiring for multiple shifts:
2nd shift (3P-11P)
3rd shift (11P-7A)
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain equipment
Troubleshoot problems
Observe and perform checklists
Perform preventative maintenance
Perform welding and machining tasks
Perform PLC troubleshooting
Overhaul and rebuild equipment
Assist engineering on projects
Assist production as members of improvement teams
Assist production in solving reoccurring problems
Other duties or projects as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Programmable Logic Control (PLC) logic
Must be able to work full-time and overtime as required
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft office programs, such as: Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to take and follow directions
Must maintain a professional demeanor
Must be able to travel
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Organized, systematic thinker who can communicate and work well with a variety of people
Associate degree or Journeyman or related coursework and experience preferred
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
