Summary of Position:
We're looking for a skilled and collaborative IT Infrastructure and Application Support Analyst to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing operations in AANA, ensuring our systems, networks, and applications run smoothly and efficiently. You'll handle a dynamic mix of responsibilities, from configuring and maintaining critical infrastructure to providing direct Level 1 and 2 application support for our business teams.
Location: Bellefontaine OH,
Travel: < 10% to other AGC facilities within Ohio
Responsibilities:
- Provide Hands-On Technical Support: You will be a key resource for our manufacturing teams, delivering direct troubleshooting and support for systems, applications, and processes. This includes providing both desk-side and remote assistance to resolve issues quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain and Optimize Core Infrastructure: You will be responsible for the health of our server and network infrastructure, including clients, servers, switches, and firewalls. You will also proactively review, analyze, and optimize our systems to enhance effectiveness, security, and performance.
- Collaborate and Integrate Solutions: You will work closely with the broader IT team to ensure our infrastructure reliably supports business objectives. A key part of your role will be assisting with the integration of new applications and ensuring seamless compatibility between our on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage User Accounts and Communications: You will handle essential administrative tasks, including user account management and the administration of our communication systems, to support our business users effectively.
Qualifications:
- A college diploma or university degree in an Information Technology field, and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Professional certifications in one or more of the following areas are highly preferred: ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, VMWare, Cloud technologies, or Security.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Administer and Troubleshoot Systems: Demonstrate proficiency in administering, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues across both hardware and software systems to ensure operational stability.
- Support Enterprise Applications: Provide direct support for enterprise-level software applications, managing their lifecycle from implementation to ongoing maintenance.
- Manage Network Infrastructure: Implement, configure, and support Cisco network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to maintain a secure and reliable network.
- Administer Server Environments: Manage and maintain diverse system environments, including Windows Server, VMWare, and Linux, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Utilize Endpoint Management Tools: Employ endpoint management solutions to effectively support, maintain, and manage client hardware and software deployments, updates, and security policies.
- Automate and Configure with Core Tools: Leverage PowerShell, Group Policy, and Active Directory to configure, secure, and efficiently manage the IT environment.
- Conduct In-Depth Issue Resolution: Independently research and analyze complex technical problems, developing and implementing effective solutions to ensure complete resolution.
- Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Prioritize in a Dynamic Environment: Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing setting while maintaining a consistent focus on customer service and user support.
