Summary of Position:
The Data Migration and Analytics Lead drives all activities for Data Migration from legacy systems to SAP to ensure timely completion of all tasks. Identifies areas for data quality improvements during data migration and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Analyzes all data extracts from legacy systems, validating data and highlighting errors.
Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements. Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives. Assists in enforcing data ownership to business Subject Matter Experts by appropriate documentation of data ownership and governance.
Acts as the central point for migration data feedback and inputs from business Subject Matter Experts, Consultants, IT Analysts and Core ERP Team. Works closely with business experts, Consultants and Core ERP Team members for all data validations, cleansing and enrichment. Works closely with IT Analysts and Consultants to help refine the logic for data extraction from legacy systems based on data validation errors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.
- Data Modeling, ETL and Reporting/Analytics experience on Business Intelligence platform preferred.
- Sound understanding of core business processes in operations, supply chain and finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
